The Shapton Fine Grit Stones take a regular edge and make
it extraordinary.
These fine grit stones polish the edge on a knife, blade,
or tool that has already been properly shaped at the
coarse and medium levels.
It is recommended to use the
#4,000, #6,000 (not pictured here) or #8,000 stone before
preceding to the #16,000 stone.
We suggest maintaining these stones with either the
Compact Lapping System or the DGLP. See the product
