Shapton Professional series for the Edge Pro - #5,000 grit stone (wine). This is the first stone in the Shapton series that leaves a mirror finish, and produces a level of sharpness that most people have never experienced. The #5,000 stone is also a necessity for achieving higher levels of refinement.

This stone measures 1" x 6", and is a beefy ~5mm thick (compared to the stock 3.2mm) and comes mounted on an aluminum blank that fits perfectly in any Edge Pro sharpening system.

It is strongly recommended to dress this stone with the mounted 2" x 6" DMT Extra Coarse or Coarse plate for optimum performance and flatness.
